Mindfulness Training in Sydney's Innerwest
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a well acclaimed experiential program that cultivates resilience, self care and the ability to actively increase well being, through training in formal and informal mindfulness practices.
The MBSR course involves eight 2.5 hour classes and a 5 hour session on a Sunday. I offer morning and evening MBSR courses 4 times a year, in 8 week blocks coinciding with school term. It takes place in Marrickville, Sydney.
Monthly Group to
Revitalise your practice
If you have completed an MBSR course you are welcome to book in to the monthly practice group in Marrickville, Sydney. Three evenings are offered in each school term.
Living Mindfully with Compassion
This 8-week course is a follow-on course from MBSR. It aims to deepen the benefits of a mindfulness practice by exploring practices that cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. It is offered once a year in February.
Mindful Parenting & Circle of Security
Mindful Parenting is an 8 week course and builds the same mindfulness skills as MBSR but with a focus on parenting stress. This course is wonderful for being more present and less reactive as a parent. This course will be offered for the first time in August 2017.
Circle of Security (COS) is an 8 week parenting program for parents of children aged 0-5. It cultivates secure attachment through relationship building. Secure attachment is a positive indicator of resilience and well being throughout life.
